Devout fans of any sports team like to flex their knowledge of their favorite side. Well, Timbers fans, here’s your chance to prove what you know while earning great prizes, and most importantly, helping out a worthy cause.

Join other Timbers fans at the Sellwood Public House on Wednesday, October 2nd at 7 PM for Timbers trivia. Fans will be able to compete for Timbers Army prizes and bid on two team-autographed raffle items.

Teams are limited to 6 members and there is $10 entry fee per person that will go directly to Operation Pitch Invasion’s Bless Field project. So grab five friends and head out to Sellwood Public House on October 2nd to prove once and for all that you are the most knowledgeable Timbers fan.

Looking for something to during a weekend when the Portland Timbers don’t have a match? Look no further than the Art Takeover Pennant Show at Coava Coffee (1300 SE Grand Ave.) in SE Portland.

Art Takeover is a design show organized by Factory North and the Timbers Army. It features the work of 30 local designers and artists who create art that fits one common theme. This year, the artists have created felt pennants with the theme of their favorite Timbers Army song.

From 7AM-6PM at Coava Coffee, 30 prints of each design will be available for purchase. Not only are the pennants a fantastic blend of art and Timbers Army culture, but they will go a long way in helping fundraise for Operation Pitch Invasion’s current project: Bless Field, a 9,000 square foot all-season soccer field designed to promote positive youth and community development.

UPDATE: Widmer Brothers is also getting into the act by auctioning off 50 limited-edition hand-numbered and signed bottles of Green & Gold Kolsch with custom labels. Lots of one-of-a-kind items to be had for sure!

Following the Art Takeover there will be an after party at the event space between Boke and Hair of the Dog Brewing on SE Water Ave from 7-10 PM.

The Portland Timbers Food Cart Alliance (PTFCA) is a free, cross-promotional program designed to highlight the Rose City’s vibrant food cart culture. Through the PTFCA, select Portland-area food carts will have the opportunity to serve their food cart fare on Timbers and Thorns FC match days at JELD-WEN Field via fan vote.

Now’s your chance to choose the next round of carts that will serve at the stadium this season. Choose carefully, the five carts that receive the most votes on this poll will serve at three JELD-WEN Field events!

The Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns FC have announced a new partnership with Chirpify, which will allow fans to conduct transactions in-stream on social media, including entering online giveaways, buying merchandise and donating to charitable partners of the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns FC.

Once registered through Chirpify, all shipping, billing, and customer information will be automatically entered and makes entering Timbers and Thorns FC contests or purchasing merchandise as simple as replying to an official post on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. 

Not only will Chirpify make transactions easier and faster for fans, they will also receive exclusive deals only offered through Chirpify. These exclusive offers will include contests, autograph vouchers and merchandise offers. When the Timbers and Thorns FC post contests and giveaways, fans that have registered with Chirpify can simply reply to the post to be eligible to win or to make a purchase.

For example, every home game fans that are registered with Chirpify will have the opportunity to enter to win autograph vouchers to use at post-game autograph signings with Timbers or Thorns FC players. Both teams will also give away signed merchandise and can’t buy game-day experiences.

Fans are encouraged to sign up now in order to take advantage of Timbers and Thorns FC promotions throughout the season.
