Stand Together Week

Stand Together Week 2013: August 4-10, 2013

The Portland Timbers, along with Stand Together Week sponsors Alaska Airlines, adidas, CenturyLink, Coca-Cola and Providence Health and Services, are organizing 2013 Stand Together Week as a call to action to get involved in our community.

In 2012, Stand Together Week participants donated 1,454 hours of service at 31 events benefitting youth and the environment in the Portland Metro area. Nonprofits served included Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia NW, Portland YouthBuilders, and Friends of Trees, among others. Watch a summary of the week in the video above.

Running from August 4-10, 2013, the week will consist of 30 volunteer projects with various nonprofit organizations throughout the city, and will again engage hundreds of supporters, including Timbers players, coaches, ambassadors and front office staff. Each project will have a meaningful impact on the community with an overall focus on benefitting youth and the environment.
