Timbers U-23s 2015 Tryouts
The Portland Timbers U-23s will conduct two open tryouts prior to the start of the 2015 season. The tryouts, to take place on April 25-26, will be held at Providence Park, located at 1844 SW Morrison, Portland, OR 97205.
The tryouts are open to players 18 years of age (as of Apr. 25, 2015) and older. The registration fee is $125; space is limited.
Members of the Timbers technical staff will be on hand to assess players.
2015 Timbers U-23s Tryout Details:
When: April 25th and 26th, from 8:00am to 12:00pm each day.
Where: Providence Park (1844 SW Morrison St. Portland, OR 97205).
Cost: $125 per participant.
Check in: Check in will begin each morning promptly at 7:15am. Please be sure to arrive on time.
Equipment: Please be sure to bring all of your own soccer equipment. The tryouts will be held outdoors, so please plan for the weather accordingly. The Timbers will supply soccer balls, Gatorade and water. Anything else that you may need you are required to bring for yourself.

ABOUT TIMBERS U-23s
Founded Nov. 11, 2008, the Portland Timbers U-23s, presented by Billups Worldwide, is an amateur team affiliated with the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer and serves as a development platform for the club's first team. The team consists of standout players from collegiate and youth programs from Oregon, the Northwest and throughout the country, and competes in United Soccer Leagues’ Premier Development League (PDL). Since its founding, numerous Timbers U-23s players have signed with the first team, USL T2 team and elsewhere in MLS including goalkeeper Jake Gleeson, Timbers Homegrown Players Steven Evans and Brent Richards, and forward Kharlton Belmar. The Timbers U-23s assembled an historic campaign in 2010, posting a perfect 16-0-0 record during the regular season on their way to becoming the first undefeated champion in PDL history.
