Primavera team gets first taste of Portland, PGE Park

PORTLAND, Ore.  – AC Milan Primavera conducted a two-hour practice at PGE Park Monday in preparation for its exhibition match against the Portland Timbers on Tuesday. AC Milan’s U-21 squad, which arrived in Portland over the weekend, kicks off a three-game U.S. preseason tour against the Timbers.
 
The Primavera squad is led by former AC Milan player Filippo Galli whose squad is highlighted by U-19 Italian National Team defender Matteo Darmian, U-19 Nigerian National Team striker Kingsley Umunegbu and team captain Ferdinando Vitofrancesco, who led Primavera midfielders in scoring during the 2006-07 season.
