'Timbers in 30' season debut set for Friday

Weekly Timbers television show to focus on exclusive access to club, team analysis

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Timbers today announced that “Timbers In 30,” the team’s weekly television show that features exclusive, inside access to the club, will make its 2012 season debut on Friday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m. on KPTV Fox 12.

Moved to a new, Friday night time slot this season, “Timbers In 30” will focus on inside access to the inner-workings and personalities of the club and provide detailed team and game analysis with in-studio appearances from Timbers players and coaches each week. Friday’s season-preview show features head coach John Spencer in-studio.

The Timbers open the 2012 MLS season by playing host to the Philadelphia Union at JELD-WEN Field on Monday, March 12, at 6:30 p.m.
