Timbers Reserves, Timbers U-23s to play scrimmages against Oregon State

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers and the club’s development team, the Timbers U-23s, today announced that they will each play a scrimmage against Oregon State University as part of the college team’s spring schedule.

The Timbers U-23s play the Beavers on Saturday, April 27, at Lorenz Field in Corvallis, Ore., as part of their first week of preseason; admission is free. The Timbers Reserves will play Oregon State on Friday, May 3, at the adidas Timbers Training Center at 6 p.m. (Pacific); the match is closed to the public.

The Timbers play host to the San Jose Earthquakes on Sunday at JELD-WEN Field at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific) on NBC Sports Network. Live radio broadcasts are available on 750 The Game and in Spanish on La Pantera 940 AM.
