Timbers Reserves host Galaxy Reserves in Western Conference matchup
The Timbers Reserves face the Galaxy Reserves on Sunday at JELD-WEN Field with kickoff at 6 p.m.(Pacific). The match marks the first and only time the Timbers Reserves and Galaxy Reserves will compete during the 2013 MLS Reserve League season.

Sunday's match marks the return of the Timbers Reserves to JELD-WEN Field after a stretch of road matches. The Timbers Reserves have earned comeback draws in each of their last two MLS Reserve League matches. Against the Whitecaps FC Reserves on May 19, forward Sal Zizzo found the back of the net in the 82nd minute on a free kick to equalize the game at 1-1. In the team’s last match on June 1, the Timbers Reserves overcame a three-goal deficit at halftime to earn a 4-4 draw on the road against USL PRO side VSI Tampa Bay FC.
The Timbers Reserves sit in third place in the West Division of the MLS Reserve League (3-1-2, 11pts) are unbeaten in their only two home matches this season; the team has played four of its first six games on the road.
The Galaxy Reserves enter Sunday's match with a 1-1-2 record on the season, placing them in fifth in the West Division. The Galaxy Reserves earned a 1-1 draw against the LA Blues of USL PRO on the road in their last match June 15. The team’s lone win on the season came May 7th against the Blues at home.
