Vote now for MLS Save of the Week: Week 28

Alhassan's header off the line nominated for best save; Vote Kalif for the rare double

Four of the best young American goalkeepers around will go at for the Save of the Week this week, with a wild card entry from a Ghanaian midfielder looking to crash the party and go for the rare MLS Goal of the Week/MLS Save of the Week double.

While guys like Chicago's Sean Johnson and D.C. United's BIll Hamid do their thing, Timbers midfield Kalif Alhassan headed one off the line against Toronto last Saturday in Portland's 4-0 victory. Vote for Alhassan before the polls close at the end of the week AND vote for him for MLS Goal of the Week for his chest-to-volley goal in the same match.

Cast your vote in the poll at right. Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursday.
