2009-10: Appeared in five La Liga matches with Real Zaragoza during the campaign … Made his La Liga debut Sept. 20, 2009, in a 2-1 loss to Valladolid, coming on as a 59th-minute sub … Was loaned to second-division side Real Sociedad on Jan. 23, 2010, through the remainder of the season … Started one of his eight appearances for Sociedad, contributing to the club’s run to the top of the second-division table and promotion to La Liga.
2008-09: Made the move to Spanish side Real Zaragoza and was a key part of the club earning promotion to Spain’s first division, La Liga, at season’s end … Played in 26 matches and registered a goal during the regular season … Scored the opening goal in the 10th minute of a 2-0 win over Las Palmas on Feb. 14, 2009 … Real Zaragoza finished second in the table with a record of 23-7-12 (81pts).

2005-06: After coming up through the youth system at Spanish club FC Barcelona, signed with English Premier League club Portsmouth FC … Made his Portsmouth debut Sept. 9, 2005, entering as a sub in a 3-2 loss to Gillingham in a Carling Cup match … Made his first Premier League appearance Sept. 24, 2005, as a 73rd-minute substitute in a 1-0 loss to Bolton Wanders … Came on as a sub in the 76th minute of a scoreless draw against Newcastle on Oct. 1, 2005.
INTERNATIONAL: International career began in the youth system of the French National Team, as a member of the U-17 and U-19 player pools … Was called in to camp for the 2005-06 U-19 European Championships … Was part of France’s U-17 National Team that won the 2003-04 U-17 European Championship … Received FIFA approval in 2008 to join the national team of his home country of Cameroon … Represented Cameroon in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing … Played in four matches during the Olympic tournament, helping the team reach the quarterfinal … Helped Cameroon go unbeaten in group play (1-0-2), playing against South Korea, Honduras and Italy … Started in the quarterfinal match against Brazil, which Cameroon lost 2-0 … Made his full Cameroon National Team debut in a 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde on Sept. 6, 2008.
