Timbers introduce new '107 for $107' ticket plan

PORTLAND, Ore.
– The Portland Timbers and the Timbers Army want YOU to be one of 107 fans to take advantage of the team’s new ticket package.

Today, the Timbers unveiled the “107 for $107 Timbers Army Plan,” a season-ticket package that includes all 14 regular-season home games plus one playoff game in Section 107 for just $107.

Section 107, also known as the “Woodshed,” is one of the stadium’s most popular seating areas and is located behind the north goal at PGE Park. It traditionally houses many of the team’s most ardent fans, including the Timbers Army, a supporter group of the team.

“Section 107 is the largest supporters section in the entire A-League,” said Kurt Schubothe, president of the Timbers Army. “Visitors from Europe have said it is the best group they have seen in the U.S. It has a European flavor to it, but it is unique to the Timbers.”

The new package offers fans a $13 savings off the regular general admission price. Additionally, “107 for $107” package holders will be invited to take part in an exclusive post-game party following one of the games.
