Goalkeeper Bayard Elfvin shares his 2007 season highlights in an end-of-season interview before he headed east to join the New Jersey Ironmen's inaugural season in the Major Indoor Soccer League in Video News.
Elfvin returned to Portland for a third season in 2007 and made two regular-season appearances totaling 135 minutes. He was also featured in two international exhibition wins over AC Milan Primavera and England's Preston North End. During the 2007 U.S. Open Cup tournament, Eflvin recorded a shutout victory over the Bakersfield Brigade of the PDL to help the Timbers advance to the second round.
In his three seasons with the Timbers, Elfvin has logged 957 minutes in 12 matches, recorded 45 saves and five shutouts.
