The Timbers open the 2008 USL First Division season April 17 at PGE Park against the Puerto Rico Islanders. The first 1,000 fans on April 17, receive Timber Jim Farewell T-shirts as the Timbers honor long-time team icon Jim Serrill who announced his retirement from the organization in January.
