Timbers to host first Kids Day at PGE Park

PORTLAND, Ore.
– The Portland Timbers will play host to their first Nike Kids Day presented by Providence Health & Services at PGE Park on Friday, Aug. 7, at 10 a.m., it was announced today. The exhibition event will feature a match between the Timbers and Timbers U-23s as well as a series of educational presentations built around soccer and healthy living. 




Tickets are $8, with groups of 15 or more receiving a discounted rate of $5. All tickets can be purchased through the Timbers ticket office by contacting

Highlighting the day is the first-ever matchup between the Timbers and the club’s Premier Development League team, the Timbers U-23s. Play will be divided into three sessions with informative health and fitness talks from the Timbers and Providence separating the action. Specific topics to be covered include respiratory health and ACL injury prevention.
