Going one-on-one with Ryan Pore

Ryan Pore has tallied a goal in each of his last four games and has quickly joined the USL First Division’s scoring leaders. The midfielder recently sat down to answer questions for 90:00 Magazine. Here is a sneak peak at his Q&A for the feature, “Pitch Perfect.”
Who was your favorite team growing up and why?
Inter Milan. I grew up watching Italian soccer with my best friend, Cameron, and he was a huge Juventus fan. So I started rooting for their rival, Inter Milan. The rivalry still exists today between him and me.
The most intimidating place you've played...
My home state is Ohio, and when playing in Major League Soccer we would play the Columbus Crew. There would always be a large gathering of friends and family that would attend. It was always an intense moment for me. For that reason, Crew Stadium was an intimidating place to play.
Any superstitions or pre-game rituals?
I tape my right wrist. It started in college when a teammate was severely injured in a car accident and I would write his number on the tape before every game.
Favorite movie...
Three Amigos, Major League and Gladiator
Who are a few of your favorite recording artists?
Tiesto, Coldplay and Kanye West
If you could play in any stadium in the world, which one would it be?
La Bombonera, the Boca Juniors Stadium
What are some of your hobbies?
Golf, PS3 and fantasy sports
What is your funniest moment on the field?
Almost getting beat up by a corner flag. While celebrating my first ever goal with Portland, I ran over and hit the corner flag and it came back up and hit me just as hard.
