Timbers launch Phase II of MLS 2011 ticket deposits

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Timbers are now accepting season-ticket deposits for their inaugural 2011 Major League Soccer (MLS) season, it was announced today as the team launched Phase II of ticket procurement.

The Timbers, who were awarded MLS’ 18th franchise on March 20, are offering fans a number of options to secure season tickets for the team’s inaugural MLS season in 2011.

The priority system is as follows:

  1. Individuals who purchase 2010 Timbers full-season tickets will have top priority for 2011 MLS season seat selection.
  2. Individuals who purchase 2010 Timbers half-season and flex-plan ticket packages will receive second priority for 2011 MLS season seat selection.
  3. Those not purchasing 2010 Timbers ticket packages described above can place a $50 deposit per seat for tertiary priority status, behind Timbers full-season, half-season and flex-plan holders.


 Fans are encouraged to secure 2011 season tickets as early as possible, as priority for seat selection will be determined by order of purchase.
