Timbers set kickoff time for Manchester City exhibition

PORTLAND, Ore.
– The Portland Timbers today announced that their international exhibition match against the English Premier League’s Manchester City on Saturday, July 17, will kick off at 7 p.m. at Merlo Field on the University of Portland campus; gates open at 6 p.m.




Tickets for the match against Manchester City are available exclusively to Timbers full-season ticket holders. Prorated season tickets are available by calling the Timbers ticket office at (503) 553-5555.




In preparation of the 2010-11 season, Manchester City begins its pre-season tour of the United States with a nine-day training camp in Portland and makes its only appearance on the West Coast in the exhibition against the Timbers.
