Ten season ticket sections sold out for 2011 MLS season

PORTLAND
, Ore.
— The Portland Timbers today announced that season tickets in 10 different sections are sold out for the team’s inaugural Major League Soccer (MLS) season in 2011 following the initial seat-selection phase for current season ticket holders and MLS depositors. Additionally, all but three suites for the team’s first MLS campaign have been sold on a multi-year basis.




Sideline season ticket Sections 117, 118 and 119; new Club Seat location C3; Sections SD2, SD5 and SD6 on the new South Deck; the Value Terrace on the west side of the stadium; Goal Box Section 115 and corner Section 110 are officially sold out and no longer available for season ticket purchase for the team’s inaugural MLS season. Additionally, Section 94 in the new premium east-side seating area is on the verge of selling out, with just a handful of seats remaining.




And with eight months remaining before the Timbers mark their on-field MLS debut, 20 of the 23 pavilion suites at PGE Park have been sold on a multi-year basis. The team anticipates selling out of suites for the 2011-13 MLS seasons by the fall.
