In a game where there was not much to celebrate, 2nd half substitute Sal Zizzo provided a few bright moments in the midfield against FC Dallas.
Zizzo supplied Portland’s two best opportunities after the intermission. After a quick restart, Adam Moffat found Zizzo with a long pass down the right side, but he lost his angle as he brought the ball toward the goal and settled for an empty cross through the six-yard box.
Less than a minute later, Zizzo took a crack from long-distance, nearly catching FCD's Kevin Hartman unprepared from 25 yards out.
