Earlier this September, Timbers defender/midfielder Rodney Wallace had a dream start to his international career by scoring the game-winning goal for Costa Rica in a friendly against the U.S.
Fellow Timbers teammate James Marcelin also got on the international scoresheet in September as he contributed a goal in Haiti's 6-0 win over the U.S. Virgin Islands in the first game held on Haitian soil since their devastating earthquake last year. He then scored again in his next international match a few days later when Haiti beat Curaçao 4-2.
Given that the Timbers had five players called up to national teams today, which player--Diego Chara (Colombia), Futty Danso (The Gambia), James Marcelin (Haiti), Steve Purdy (El Salvador), or Brian Umony (Uganda)--will have the biggest impact with their upcoming respective international matches in October?
