Sal Zizzo has had a busy week while on the road with the Portland Timbers. A goal against Toronto FC won him the CenturyLink Man of the Match last week.
He followed that up with a two assist performance in a spirited 3-2 loss against the New York Red Bulls. Displaying breakneck speed up and down the pitch, Zizzo easily beat New York defender Roy Miller on numerous occasions and presented great vision on both passes that led to fellow nominees Bright Dike and Darlington Nagbe’s goals in the game.
