Cascadia Cup Standings Update - August 3, 2013

Cascadia Cup

Saturday’s match between the Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps at JELD-WEN Field marks the third Cascadia Cup match of the season for the Timbers (8pm PT, ROOT SPORTS, 750 The Game / La Pantera 940), and the fifth overall Cascadia Cup match between all three clubs. The Timbers are the only team that has not hosted a Cascadia Cup match this season, while Seattle and Vancouver have each hosted two.

After half of the Cascadia schedule has been played, the Timbers sit in third position in the standings. However, they are the only unbeaten team remaining and have given up the fewest number of goals with a game in hand.
