Things are getting busy atop the Western Conference standings as the playoffs draw nearer. There is a lot to keep an eye on, and this Sunday at JELD-WEN Field there will be many things keeping fans busy, as well.
When the Portland Timbers host the L.A. Galaxy on Sunday (12:30 p.m. PT, NBC, 750 The Game / La Pantera), Timbers fans will have the opportunity to participate in several exciting activities.
Where’s Joey?!
Our friends at Leupold want your help finding Timber Joey at the remaining Timbers home games. Fans are encouraged to visit the Leupold concourse booth where they will be able to use Leupold spotting scopes, binoculars, and rangefinders to track down life size cutouts of Timber Joey around JELD-WEN Field. Fans who participate will be entered to win a Timber Joey gear package including:

- (1) Autographed life size Timber Joey cutout
LaRog Time

CenturyLink Community Game-changer
Do you know a K-12 youth in your area that makes a difference in his or her community? CenturyLink is looking for that community game-changer! From now until October 6th, Timbers fans can nominate their community game-changer who could potentially win an in-school visit from Timber Joey as well as four (4) VIP pre-game passes and four (4) tickets to the final regular season Timbers home game on October 19th vs. Real Salt Lake.
CenturyLink and the Timbers will judge nominees on the following criteria:
- (50%) overall selflessness
- (25%) time spent involved in relevant philanthropic work (i.e. hours, years)
- (25%) dedication and other related attributes in line with the Portland Timbers Stand Together Mission (link to the Mission - “The Portland Timbers Stand Together mission is to harness the power of sport to improve the lives of children and families in the Portland metro area through targeted programs, deep partnerships, and philanthropic giving.”)
