Portland Timbers defender Liam Ridgwell, on loan with English Championship side Wigan Athletic, made his second straight start for the Latics in their 1-1 draw with Blackburn on Saturday.
Playing the full 90 in a hard-fought Lancashire derby, Ridgewell helped the home side fight back in the second half. After going down to the Rovers early in the 15th minute, forward James McClean scored a 63rd minute equalizer to earn a much needed point.
Wigan next hosts Huddersfield Town this Saturday at DW Stadium.
