PORTLAND, Ore. – Kicking off their inaugural 2015 USL season, T2 play host to fellow USL expansion side Real Monarchs SLC at Merlo Field on Sunday, March 29, at 6 p.m. (Pacific).

T2 ended their preseason schedule with a 4-1 win over the University of Portland on Sunday, March 22, at Merlo Field. Four T2 players tallied goals, including Kharlton Belmar, Steven Evans, Fatawu Safiu and Rundell Winchester. During preseason play, T2 compiled an undefeated record including a win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC and three shutout wins against Gonzaga University, Oregon State University and the University of Washington.
Real Monarchs SLC (0-0-1, 1pt) enter Sunday’s match following a season-opening, scoreless draw against LA Galaxy II at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., on March 22. The draw against LA Galaxy II earned the Monarchs their first point in club history. On loan from parent club Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer, goalkeeper Lalo Fernandez provided the Monarchs with their first clean sheet, saving four shots from Galaxy II.
Following Sunday’s inaugural match, T2 play host to defending USL-champion Sacramento Republic FC on Thursday, April 2, at Merlo Field; kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (Pacific).
