PORTLAND, Ore. – T2 forward Kharlton Belmar has been named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 2 after scoring two goals in T2’s inaugural USL match, it was announced today. Belmar’s first goal in the 31st minute was the first goal scored in T2 history. Belmar, who logged the brace with his second strike in the 54th minute, helped T2 to a 3-1 victory over Real Monarchs SLC on Sunday Night at Merlo Field.
T2 (1-0-0, 3 pts) play host to defending USL-champion Sacramento Republic FC (1-1-0, 3 pts) this Thursday, April 2, at 7 p.m. (Pacific) at Merlo Field on the campus of the University of Portland.
