Due to the heat advisory in place for Friday's Thorns FC vs. Sky Blue FC match on July 3, 2015 (7pm PT, Webstream) and Sunday’s July 5, 2015 Portland Timbers match against the San Jose Earthquakes (8pm PT, ESPN2), the Timbers, Thorns and Providence Park will be instituting the following measures for the benefit and safety of all fans attending the match:
- Loosening of our water bottle allowance policy to now include “All sealed plastic water bottles containing water and sports drinks.”
- Addition of a “cooling tent” courtesy of Metro West on the East Concourse.
- Addition of Water Stations for fans to get water on West Concourse (1) and behind the north end supporters sections (1) and the East Concourse (1).
- In addition, water can be found in all stadium restrooms and drinking fountains.
