#StatMan Three | Portland Timbers 1, Vancouver Whitecaps 1 | July 18, 2015

Adam Kwarasey, Timbers vs. Dynamo, 6.20.15

The Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps played to a heated 1-1 draw Saturday at Providence Park, the sixth all-time draw in the clubs' MLS matchups. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from the match.

23Diego Valeri's first-half tally was his 23rd goal since joining the Timbers prior to the 2013 season. The 23 goals rank second among MLS midfielders in that time span, behind only New England's Lee Nguyen.

4 After sitting out his first match of the season last week, Adam Kwarasey returned to the field to deliver four saves for the Timbers. No save was more impressive than his denial of a 16th-minute shot by Vancouver's Kekuta Manneh.

12 With the draw, the Timbers are now unbeaten in their last 12 home games against Western Conference opponents. Portland has a record of 6-0-6 (24 points) in those matches.
