Justice Dorsey-Moore has been an outstanding Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest volunteer for the past two years. Justice is currently a nursing student at the University of Portland. She has facilitated six after school Girls Groups in elementary schools and community centers in North Portland, and as part of these groups, has inspired many girls to be strong, smart, and bold. She always brings a positive and caring attitude as well as a genuine desire to improve the lives of girls. Justice’s contribution to Girls Inc. programs has been immense, and we’re so excited to recognize her as our Community All Star with the Portland Thorns FC.
Portland Thorns FC and Your Local Toyota Dealers are partnering to honor difference-makers in the Portland community throughout the 2016 NWSL season. With the goal of honoring those that are most deserving, recipients are nominated by our valued community partners. Honorees receive tickets, autograph passes and Thorns FC merchandise. Six (6) Community All-Stars will be recognized during the 2016 season at the following matches: April 17th vs. Orlando Pride; May 29th vs. Seattle Reign; June 22nd vs. Chicago Red Stars; July 9th vs. FC Kansas City; July 30th vs. Seattle Reign; September 11th vs. Western NY Flash.
