PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Thorns FC will play host to a to-be-determined opponent in the semifinals of the 2016 NWSL playoffs on Sunday, Oct. 2, at Providence Park, it was announced today. Set to kickoff at 2 p.m. (Pacific), the semifinal match will be broadcast live on FS1. The match will be presented by Tillamook Ice Cream.

Tickets for Thorns FC’s first-ever home playoff game go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. (Pacific). Tickets will be available for purchase online via ThornsFC.com here, by phone at (888) 736-6849, or at the Providence Park box office.
The winner of the Oct. 2 playoff game at Providence Park will advance to the NWSL championship game, which will be played at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas, on Sunday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. (Pacific), with a live broadcast on FS1.
