STAND TOGETHER LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
With the help of key nonprofit partners, the Stand Together Leadership Academy launched in 2016. This innovative program aims to inspire youth to think creatively, celebrate our diversity, give back to our community, and become the next generation of leaders. The Academy is only offered to a select number of students, ages 10 to 12 years old. Stay tuned for the release of the 2017 date!

ROSE CITY READERS
“Rose City Readers” magnifies the importance of children reading at their grade level and furthering their education. Studies show students who read by third grade are four times more likely to graduate on time, succeed in college and careers, and contribute to society. Because of this, Timber Joey and our players are dedicated to visiting schools in our community and motivating students to read.

SCIENCE OF SOCCER
This exclusive Stand Together x OMSI collaboration taught a select number of “soccer scientists” how to break down the game of soccer through the lenses of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The experience offered exclusive access to Providence Park, OMSI as well as behind-the-scenes tour of the adidas North America Headquarters and Providence Sports Care Center. Students learned by engaging in science experiments, problem solving, informational field trips and exchanging ideas. The experience will be offered again in Summer 2017. Space is limited, so don't wait to sign up!

GIRLS STRONG CLINIC
Stand Together hosts the “Girl Strong” clinic at Providence Park to encourage young women to lead healthy lives and be positive role models in their community. The girls were treated to an afternoon of soccer on the pitch, a tour of the Providence Sports Care Center and a very special meet and greet with some of their favorite Thorns players.

SCORE A GOAL, PLANT A TREE
“Score A Goal, Plant A Tree” program with Friends of Trees and JELD-WEN Windows and Doors creates lasting change in our neighborhoods. Through this initiative, the Timbers plant a trees within city limits to commemorate goals scored throughout the season – and then some! Since 2011, 2,799 trees and shrubs have been planted, 503,820 pounds of pollutants have been removed, 134,352 pounds of carbon dioxide have been absorbed, and 6,661,620 gallons of polluted rainwater have been intercepted.

GIRLS OF THE GAME
Following the Thorns’ postgame walk around the pitch recognizing the crowd, our “Girls of the Game” present bouquets of roses to each of the players that score goals and our keeper when she records a shutout. These inspiring “Girls of the Game” are young women who are selected by our Stand Together partners for their outstanding work and dedication to the organization.

TEAM STORE BENEFICIARY
The Timbers and Thorns Team Stores at Providence Park showcase a Stand Together nonprofit partner and make it possible for customers to make a register donation to the month’s highlighted organization. The Team Stores also donate a percentage of sales from the exclusive Stand Together product line to the PTFC community platform. Thank you to the Team Stores and fans for their continued generosity and commitment to helping us better our community!
POSITIVE COACHING ALLIANCE
