Bio: A productive forward in the college ranks for the University of Connecticut, Shufelt also helped the Ottawa Fury win the USL W-League title in 2012 following her final year of eligibility with the Huskies. The Rochester, N.Y., native joins Thorns FC for the 2013 season as the team’s fifth round pick (40th overall) in the NWSL Supplemental Draft on Feb. 7, 2013.
