A fast and technical defender, Williamson joined Thorns FC as the club’s first ever draft pick, selected eighth overall in the NWSL College Draft on Jan. 18, 2013.

2013: One of three players to start all 22 regular-season matches in 2013 ... Finished the regular-season ranked second on the team in minutes played (1,944), the most of any rookie on the roster ... Started both of the team's NWSL playoff games ... Was issued a red card in the 56th minute of the NWSL championship match, becoming the first Thorns FC player ever to be ejected from a match ... Played 800 consecutive minutes at center back without committing a foul from April 21-June 6.

International
2011: Attended a week-long training camp with the U-23 Women’s National Team in January at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

College
A center back for the University of Florida, Williamson made 81 appearances (80 starts) during a four-year career with the Gators … Senior season was interrupted by a torn meniscus after the first five matches … Returned late in the season to help Florida reach the Sweet Sixteen round of the NCAA Tournament.
