Bio: A defender with 11 caps for the U.S. Women’s National Team and a veteran of the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Dougherty joins Thorns FC as the club’s fourth-round selection (32nd overall) in the NWSL Supplemental Draft on Feb. 7, 2013.
