Andrew Gregor

Originally joining the Timbers Academy coaching staff in March 2014, T2 assistant coach Andrew Gregor, who holds his USSF “B” license, returns for his fourth season as a professional coach with the club, previously serving as an assistant coach (2015) and head coach (2016-17) for T2.

As head coach of the Timbers U-16 side, he helped lead the team to its first appearance in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Playoffs. Following the 2014-15 Academy season, Gregor was named the U-15/16 West Conference Coach of the Year. 

As part of a 12-year professional playing career that included time in MLS, Gregor played for the Columbus Crew and Kansas City Wizards and also featured with USL First Division sides the Seattle Sounders and Rochester Rhinos. A standout at the University of Portland during his collegiate career, Gregor appeared in 50 league games for the Timbers (2004, 2007-08), registering 10 goals and eight assists. He helped Portland capture a regular-season title in 2004 and earned all-league honors in 2007.
