With the 2013 MLS SuperDraft only days away followed quickly by players and coaches reporting for preseason, we take a look back at what a few players have been up to during their offseason.
Forward Brent Richards spent some of his time away from the pitch with a trip to Europe visiting Spain and Germany among other places.

Also busy this offseason was midfielder/forward Darlington Nagbe who was married in mid-December. And yes, this is an X-Box cake with what appears to be an edible copy of FIFA 13 on top of it. Very clever:
Our amazing wedding cake and the XBox cake my wife @feliciahoutz surprised me with at the wedding! Haha! #l instagr.am/p/TYYtGQCsbp/

Also tying the knot in the offseason was Timbers midfielder Diego Chara.
After a mid-December acquisition, new Timbers defender Michael Harrington was eager to get started after his chat on Talk Timbers:
Enjoyed the chat on #talktimbers. It's gonna be a long month. Ready to get started now.. #2013 @timbersfc

While fellow new Timbers player Will Johnson also did some shopping for his daughter:
My daughter is so excited for the new season that she took it upon herself to order a new outfit! twitter.com/WillJohnson08/…

Midfielder Eric Alexander got some training in with a jog in the rain as preparation for in-season weather.
Just went for a good run in the rain. Game realistic for Portland...

And defender Rodney Wallace visited his high school alma mater to get a quick workout in:

Suffice to say, Timbers players have been busy though all are ready for the 2013 season to begin. Follow players' Twitter handles via the Timbers roster page or check out our handy list.
