PORTLAND, Ore. –The Portland Timbers U-23s sustained their first loss of the 2015 PDL season, falling 2-0 against Kitsap Pumas in front of 8,121 fans at Providence Park on Friday in a Providence Health & Fitness Day match. The loss snapped Portland’s two-game winning streak to start the season.

Following a scoreless first half, the Timbers U-23s (2-1-0, 6 pts) conceded the opening goal late in the second half as Kitsap defender Logan Miller converted a sharp cross in the box from midfielder Mike Ramos in the 83rd minute to give the Pumas (3-0-0, 9pts) the lead late in the match.
