#StatMan Three | Diego Valeri continues to rack up goals for the Timbers

Jack McInerney and Diego Valeri found the back of the net as the Portland Timbers defeated C.D. Dragón, 2-1 in CONCACAF Champions League play Wednesday night at Providence Park. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from the match. 

4McInerney has now scored four career goals in CCL play in addition to the four goals he has scored in both the U.S. Open Cup and the Amway Canadian Championship. 

10Valeri now has 10 competitive goals for the season, giving him a double-digit tally for the third time in his Portland career.

3.4 In five CCL matches all-time, the Portland Timbers have scored 17 goals, giving the club a 3.4 goals per game average. That is the highest goals per game average for any MLS team in CCL play with the Montreal Impact coming in second with an average of 2.2.
