2016 MLS Team of the Week (Wk 28): Darren Mattocks's electrifying performance vs. Union gets him spot on TOTW

Portland Timbers forward Darren Mattocks was busy in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Philadelphia Union.

Tasked with patrolling the left side to pressure the Union defense and provide support, Mattocks played a key role in both of Portland's goals. Pestering the Philadelphia backline, Mattocks stole the ball away on his way to picking up two assists--his first multi-assist game of his MLS career.

Mattocks was also credited with three completed dribbles and led the team with four chances created all of which led to the Jamaican international earning a spot on the MLS Week 28 Team of the Week.
