#StatMan Three | Asprilla delivers a goal and assist for first time in regular-season play

The Portland Timbers secured a spot in the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs with a 3-1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday. Here are three key #StatMan takeaways from the match.

1+1 For the first time in a regular-season match, Dairon Asprilla delivered both a goal and an assist in the same game. Asprilla had previously accomplished the feat in the 2015 and 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs, respectively.

2 Defender Larrys Mabiala scored his second goal of the season for the Timbers. It is also the second consecutive season that Mabiala has scored in Portland's home regular-season finale.

7 Sebastián Blanco finished the scoring with a picture-perfect free kick. Blanco is the seventh Timbers player to score direct from a free kick in the Timbers MLS history.
