Portland’s four-game win streak is the second-longest active streak in the league

Portland’s four-game win streak is the second-longest active streak in the league, just behind Philadelphia’s five straight wins. Notably, it marks Portland’s longest regular-season win streak since they posted four consecutive wins from Sept. 19 – Oct. 03, 2021.

Portland is undefeated in its last 12 competitions played in the month of September (10-0-2), dating back to Sept. 16, 2020. The Timbers have had win streaks of four or more spanning through September for three straight years (2022, 2021, 2020).

The Timbers have won four of the last five meetings with Columbus Crew SC (4-1-0), with an overall mark of 5-3-2 against the Eastern Conference opponent.

Dairon Asprilla has contributed to five of Portland’s eight goals in its last five matches (3g, 2a). In that five-game stretch, Asprilla has had two game-winning goals, a game-tying goal, and a game-winning assist.

Aljaz Ivacic is tied with San Jose's JT Marcinkowski for the most saves made this season with a total of 103. Ivacic solely leads the MLS for saves made from inside the box (68).
