The quest for the 2019 Cascadia Cup finishes Friday as the Portland Timbers host Seattle Sounders FC (7pm PT, ESPN). The Timbers currently sit atop the standings with six points in three games. A Portland win or a draw Friday will them earn their fifth Cascadia Cup while a loss will see it remain in Seattle.
Created by the supporters of the Sounders, Whitecaps and Portland Timbers, the Cascadia Cup has been around since 2004. It was contested by all three teams in the USL until 2009, when the Sounders made their MLS debut. The Whitecaps and Timbers continued battling for the Cup in the lower divisions until 2011, when both then moved up into MLS, allowing the Sounders to get back in on the competition.

Team with the MOST POINTS after all matches is the winner. Tiebreakers:
1.) Greater number of points earned in matches between the teams concerned
2.) Greater goal difference in matches between the teams concerned
3.) Greater number of goals scored in matches between the teams concerned
4.) Reapply first three criteria if two or more teams are still tied
5.) Greater goal difference in all cup matches
6.) Greater number of goals scored in all cup matches
7.) Smaller number of disciplinary points in all cup matches (yellow = 1 point, red = 2 points)
