San Antonio FC

Playing on loan last year with the USL Championship’s San Antonio FC, Nathan Fogaça was the team’s leading goalscorer with 13 goals in 34 games.

Fogaça scored two goals in three 2021 USL Championship playoff matches, helping San Antonio advance to the conference finals.

Born in Brazil, Fogaça came up through the academy ranks of Coritiba – about a five to six hour drive south of Sao Paulo.

After making his pro debut at 18, Fogaça appeared in 40 matches played across all competitions with Coritiba between 2018-2020.

Originally signed to Timbers2, Fogaça made his first T2 appearance on April 24, playing the full 90 and converting a penalty kick in the team’s 4-2 shootout victory over Real Monarchs.

Having played two matches with T2, Fogaça is already second on the team in shots (eight).

PTFC for Peace

Recently, Fogaça scored a brace and contributed an assist for Team Yellow in the PTFC for Peace coed charity match benefiting UNICEF USA’s efforts in helping children and families affected by the war in Ukraine. Team Yellow defeated Team Blue and the event raised $500,000 and counting.
