Former Timbers mid, now assistant Univ. of Portland coach Ben Zemanski on Breaking Lines

​Ben Zemanski’s 13 years of high-level soccer cast him as part of three of the more memorable teams of the last two decades: a University of Akron squad that was one of the most talented in collegiate history; a Chivas USA group that played out the bizarre in Los Angeles’ sports shadows; and a Portland Timbers team that would claim the 2015 MLS Cup. 

Now into the next phase of his life in soccer, Zemanski joins us to talk about life on The Bluff, where he is entering his second year as an assistant for the University of Portland Pilots men’s soccer team.
