The largest painted tifo in MLS history
We’re breaking the first rule of tifo – talking about tifo – because once every 50 years, it’s worth it. This Saturday, the Timbers Army will unveil the largest painted tifo in MLS history before kickoff. It’s going to be massive, encompassing much of the stadium.
Here’s what you need to know: Be in your seats by 7:15 PM. The tifo will go up earlier than usual, so get in a little early.
It'll be down before the match starts, but some guide ropes may still be in place at kickoff. Timbers Army members will be working as quickly as possible to clear them safely – thanks in advance for your patience!

Special Mini Match
At approximately 6:10pm PT, there will be a special mini match at the north end of the pitch involving an over-70, coed soccer team, Mojos FC. Mojos FC is a collective of adults whose soccer origins date back to 1977, inspired by the NASL Portland Timbers. When Portland Parks and Recreation hosted its first recreational summer soccer league for local adults just two years into the Timbers’ existence, many adults in the Portland area were introduced to the beautiful game for the first time, including several of Mojos FC’s founders. Over the years, Mojos and other iterations of its club have grown widely and traveled internationally to share their joy for the game and inspire their community.
50th Anniversary Halftime Celebration
At halftime of the match, over 60 Timbers player alumni from all eras of the club's 50-year history will gather on the field for a special ceremony and recognition. Additionally, the club will present the full Timbers All-Time XI. See all who's schedule to be in attendance:
