Needing a big win to, as he put it, "stabilize" the team, Portland Timbers goalkeeper Steve Clark put in a massive performance in Sunday's 2-0 shutout away win over Seattle Sounders FC. The Portland netminder made five saves on the night as the team picked up their fourth clean sheet of the year.

Helping spark the attack, forward Felipe Mora assisted on Sebastián Blanco's opener before scoring a goal of his own to seal the win in second half stoppage time.

Leading the game plan in this important game was head coach Giovanni Savarese who said after the match that it was, "a performance that was with heart, with unity [and] with giving everything we had."

All three earned spots on the MLS Team of the Week, presented by Audi with Clark in the XI, Savarese as the coach and Mora on the bench.
