- The El Salvador international captained La Selecta at the 2014 Copa Centroamericana and has a total of 57 caps for his national team
- As a youth, Flores played at the famed River Plate academy in Argentina alongside Mateo Musacchio (A.C. Milan) and Érik Lamela (Tottenham Hotspur)
- Flores played four seasons for the New York Cosmos under then-head coach Giovanni Savarese, helping them win NASL titles in 2015 and 2016
- Flores began his professional career with A.D. Isidro Metapán in El Salvador and appeared in 95 matches for the club, helping them capture four domestic titles in his time there
