PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Timbers today announced that half-season ticket packages for the team’s 2011 inaugural MLS season are on sale now.
The 10-game packages, which start at $21 per game, are available in two plans.
Half-season packages can be purchased through the Timbers ticket office by calling (503) 553-5555. For information on the half-season packages, please visit www.portlandtimbers.com/tickets and click the ‘Mini-Plans’ tab.
Plans are available in General Admission, Goal Box and Sideline Terrace sections and include benefits such as a dedicated service representative, access to an online account manager and a guaranteed seat for all games in your plan. All half-season packages are at a discount from box office prices.
Plan A includes the inaugural-season home opener, when the Timbers take on the Chicago Fire in their first home match as an MLS club at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 14. The plan also features an Independence Day weekend match on July 2, a home meeting with Vancouver Whitecaps FC, and the home finale against the Houston Dynamo on Oct. 14.
Plan B includes matches against rival Seattle Sounders FC, Landon Donovan and the LA Galaxy, Thierry Henry and the New York Red Bulls, the Philadelphia Union and Portland product Danny Mwanga, as well as three international exhibition matches.
