Defender Mamadou "Futty" Danso recently returned from his first stint of national team duty with The Gambia. He talks about his experience and returning to the Southeast this weekend to face Carolina in Timbers Insider.
He was called up by The Gambia National Team to participate in a qualification match for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations against Namibia on Sept. 4, in Banjul, The Gambia. Futty spent just under a week back home in The Gambia while on national team duty and it was his first taste of international experience.
