The Timbers offer their first family soccer and fitness camp at PGE Park on Saturday, Aug. 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at PGE Park. The Timbers' Family Soccer & Fitness Training Camp is a specialized camp open to all parents/guardians and their children ages 8-14 years old.
The camp will include age- and skill-specific soccer coaching in conjunction with fun and challenging fitness training. The day will end with a fun parent-child soccer game and a bar-b-que in PGE Park's Widmer Garden. Like the club's other camps this season, Timbers players and coaches will run the soccer training while Timbers strength and conditioning coach, Karim Derqaoui, will lead the fitness sessions.
The cost for a parent and their child to attend camp is $120 ($65 for individuals), and includes the post-game bar-b-que and a personalized camp t-shirt for each participant. Additional bar-b-que seats are available for $15 each.
