Justin Thompson

Thompson, 27, appeared in 24 matches for the Timbers in 2008, logging a pair of goals in 1,953 minutes on the pitch. The North Vancouver, B.C., native joined Portland in 2007, where he was a part of a defensive unit that set Timbers' modern-franchise records for shutouts (14) and fewest goals allowed (18) that season. Thompson's professional career has taken him overseas where he suited up for English clubs Hornchurch FC, Bury FC and Worcester City FC from 2003-2007.
